Ethics and Power

Nondual insight does not remove moral life. It reframes it: action still matters, harm still hurts, power still shapes communities.

“At the absolute level, no one does anything wrong.”

Even if held as contemplative insight, this cannot be used to dismiss victims, avoid repair, or excuse teachers who exploit students.

  • Transparency about money, sex, and authority
  • Willingness to receive criticism
  • Accountability structures in communities
  • Solidarity with suffering at social and political levels

Identify a situation where you have influence. Ask:

  1. Who benefits from my silence?
  2. What would responsibility look like without self-image?
  3. Am I confusing detachment with moral disengagement?
